A great battle between eventual winner Drift Ice who gets up to head a brave effort from Almaram and that is Mike De Kock off to a great start to what could be a memorable evening for the trainer Kevin Shea with another winner to his list on Drift Ice who stayed on well over this trip of 1500m, he won over 1300m two outings ago but he did not find this step up in trip not to his liking whatsoever

Saeed bin Suroor off the mark for the night with Blackat Blackitten who follows up his win of two weeks ago and that is his fourth win in a row after two wins in the UK before arriving here in Dubai Frankie Dettori on the even money favourite after their late run to deny Golden Arrow who ran a massive race in second and in third place was Halkin who at one point looked certain to win

With Interest gets back at the line after being passed by Gower Song and that is a double for Saeed bin Suroor and that is his 15th winner of this season's Carnival with a good chance of two more tonight A good run from With Interest and a good ride by Frankie Dettori for his own double this evening, England so close to having their second win of the Carnival with Gower Song who was just unlucky

A great performance by Star Crowned who follows up his good win at Jebel Ali last month in good style to win for trainer Rashed Bouresly and that brings up his third win in a row after a win at Windsor Brett Doyle rode a fine race on Star Crowned having him in the front rank all the way before pulling clear of Sir Edwin Landseer in second place and following close up in third favourite Salaam Dubai

Honour Devil wins the UAE 2000 Guineas and provides his trainer Mike De Kock with a great double on the night. Honour Devil kept his stablemate Royal Vintage at bay and that was also trained by Mike Johnny Murtagh congratulates Honour Devil after his good win in the UAE 2000 Guineas and that follows up the win of Asiatic Boy from last season, Mike De Kock certainly has a good crop of 3yo's

And the evening finishes with a treble for Saeed bin Suroor with the top weight Familiar Territory winning easily picking off his rivals with ease and he seemed to appreciate the longet trip tonight Frankie Dettori had a good night with his own treble and he rode well as he seems to always do every season at this track, the stable of Saeed bin Suroor is flying at the moment with their 16th winner
