wins the Maktoum Challenge Rd 1 with ease, and he only had a
small threat from Kerbel Lotois in second place to worry about
but he recorded a six length victory and he may be one to follow |
Richard Hills with
his third winner of the season rode a confident race aboard
kandar Du Falgas, Richard had to choose between the Doug Watson
pair Kandar Du Falgas and Paris Gagner who was third, he chose
well |

| Godolphin get off
to the best start possible with Many Colours winning her first
start on Dirt, this race one of three changed from the turf
track due to record rainfalls this week which left the turf
track very wet indeed |
Saed bin Suroor
trained his first winner of the season here in the Dubai International
Racing Carnival and of course Frankie Dettori was in the saddle
of Many Colours her fifth career win after four wins in Ireland |

| Well here we go
again with Godolphin's Fiesta Lady winning well giving weight
away to all the runners and that makes it her fourth win in
a row after three wins in Argentina |
So a double for
Frankie Dettori and also for trainer Saeed bin Suroor who trained
the winner and the second placed Cocoa Beach who finished the
fastest on the outside |

| A remarkable winner
here with Rampallion coming from plum last to win well from
Familiar Territory and that is a great winner in the Carnival
for Erwan Charpy who trains locally at the Nad Al Sheba track |
Michael Kinane with
a great ride aboard Rampallion and he has started where he left
off from last season's Carnival when he had a great line of
winners, here though the winner had his first run since leaving
the UK |

| Lucky Find romps
away with the 5th race and the leading trainer in Carnival winners
Mike De Kock adds to his tally with Lucky Find's first start
on the dirt which he seemed to like |
Kevin Shea on the
easy winner lucky find who won by a good 7 1/2 lengths from
Third Set who was from the Saeed bin Suroor yard, Lucky Find
last run a good 2nd in a Grade 1 |

| The Maktoum Challenge
goes to Brazil and that repeated the win from last season of
Imperialista who was down the field trying for a repeat win,
the winner is trained by Pedro Nickel Filho who has a great
Carnival record |
This winner won
by a big margin of 9 lengths and what an easy winner for jockey
Jose Aparecido Da Silva, he was looking around for challengers
a long way out and probably could not believe how easily he
was winning |

| After Happy Boy
here comes Happy Runner and a fantastic double for trainer Pedro
Nickel Filho with this runner who only ran because this race
was switched from turf to dirt |
And a double for
Jose Aparecido Da Silva and a great start for the Brazillians
who have always come to the Dubai International Racing Carnival
with plenty of winners |
