De Leyre on the rail and these two battled for the line clear
of Scheherazade Monlau the stable mate of the second finisher |
Keegan
latham retuns on the winner Offrande Ducroate and is welcomed
by the connections who train the winner, this is the second
race win for the winner. Karim Aga was the trainer of the second
and third placed horses |

easy win here for Moonquake who was the obvious choice for the
crowd, running with a Handicap mark of 90 and a winner at Newcastle
in the summer in the UK and another winner for Mubarak bin Shafya |
So
losing his claim does not stop Ahmed Ajtebi from riding winners
but this was an armchair ride having started slightly slow he
soon got to the front and led all the way to victory from there
and he was well clear of the field |

weight Estihdaaf wins after a hard race where the pace was fast
from the off and the Ali Rashid Al Raihe trained winner was
ridden all the way but eventually got past Seeking The Alibi
who had gone for home |

Hills after what he said was "hard work" riding Estihdaaf,
he was trailing the field and provided the winner with a great
ride and the horse and rider were caked in sand as you can see
as they come back to the paddock |

de Kock lays his cards down for the fortcoming Dubai International
Racing Carnival winning the 1600m Winter Racing Challenge Final
with Brave Tin Soldier who had to overcome a battle with Military
Power down the straight but availed to win |
Kevin
Shea looks like he has had a hard race and for a while he must
of wondered if he could get away from Military Power, but Brave
Tin Soldier stuck to the task and duly pulled away to a good
win and a good run after his fine second at Jebel Ali last time |

Ray wins the Winter Challenge 2000m Final and he deserved to
win this after being top points earner leading up to the final,
and he made all the running at a very fast pace and Doug Watson
trained the first three home with Clasp second and Dynamic Saint
back in third |
Daragh
O'Donohoe after an absolutely superb ride aboard Lucky Ray,
rated 83 and taking on the big boys he went out in front with
Clasp and these two went clear and battled all the way to the
line with another stable mate Dynamic Saint closing slightly
back in third place |

double and a cap on a wonderful night for trainer Doug Watson
whose Force Freeze wins the Winter Challenge 1200m Final on
his first UAE outing and he did it in style always front rank
to pull away for an impressive victory from Salaam Dubai |
Fernando
Jara returns on Force Freeze after their impressive win together,
he has now won four races from just six starts and the only
horse to beat him is Lantana Mob when he came second to him
twice in the US. A sprinter with a good future here |
