after rallying to beat Ra'Ad who looked to have the race in
the bag, but thei Irfan Elahi trained colt had other ideas and
quickened up well to win his maiden |
A great "Never
Say Die" ride by Willie Supple who kept up the ride even
when Ted Durcan on Ra'Ad swept past him early in the straight
and the winner responded well under him |

Conditions for Fillies & Mares for trainer Anthony Manuel
his third winner of the season |
Adrian "Trotter"
Nicholls with Pride Of Baghdad and a good confident ride by
Adrian who had this mare well positioned all through the race
and he held off Cat Belling well |

Brothers David on
Sahara Sphinx and Wayne on Bonecrusher, the Smith's rode good
races to finish a neck apart at the post. David has now rode

last well under Richard Mullen to give him his 9th winner of
the season and he and Malayeen stayed on well to pass Ragad
a furlong out and go away |
Adi Selvaratnam
with his third winner of the season Malayeen who dropped down
a grade to run in this handicap and it suited the winner well
as did the trip of 1300m |
