| Godolphin carry on this season's Cranival in brilliant form and collect the Listed Al Bastakiya with Mendip stormed to his third win from three races, trained by Saeed bin Suroor and another great ride by Frankie Dettori who is as popular as ever receiving the trophy above. Mendip looks as if he could be a live threat to Musir who missed this engagement in the UAE Derby on Dubai World Cup day, last time out he defeated Uncle Tom by half a length but tonight Uncle Tom was seventh way back so Mendip is definitely improving. Della Barba was 2nd for Jerry Barton and Olivier Peslier & Enak 3rd for Saeed bin Suroor and Ted Durcan |
