South African trainer hoping to win Group 2 for third season in a row.

The in form Mushreq trained by Mike De Kock will be a warm favourite to win the Group 2 Al Rashidiya and give De Kock his third straght win in the race after Musir (2012) and The Apache (2013), over all he has trained five winners and this would be his sixth in the race that since being run over 2000m from 2000-2003 is now run over 1800m this being the distance since 2010.

Mushreq was superb first time out this season winning the Listed Singspiel Stakes from Gabrial who has won since, Paul Hanagan who rides won the Group 2 Al Fahidi Fort last season on Mushreq and should be confident of another good win here.

In fact Saeed bin Suroor has also won this race five times and Tasaday must be a big hope for Godolphin, all his races have been in france and although he did not win his performance beaten a nose by Dalkala in the Group 1 Prix de l`Opera and also 3rd to Prix de l`Arc deTtriomphe winner Treve in the Group 1 Prix Vermeille. Silvestre De Sousa rides and this could be a very special horse running in the Godolphin blue this season.

Of course there is a big field of 12 so there are more than just the two mentioned above but I feel these are the main players.
