Dubai World Cup Day Partners Present World`s Richest Race To Global Audience Of Millions

Commitment and Vision Bywords For Meydan Group’s Pillar Partners

This Saturday (March 30) sees the 18th renewal of the world’s richest horse race, an event which was born out of the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

That first Dubai World Cup day in 1996 was won by the undefeated American superhorse, Cigar and since those early days the race has grown to include a high-class nine race card which is today worth an incredible US$27,25m.

The development of the Dubai World Cup day card and the growth of the event’s international profile, and that of Dubai since 1996 would not have been possible without the support of a select group of partners whose vision has helped support and nurture horse racing in the emirate.
