Founding Sponsor Of Dubai World Cup Day Continues Support Of Horseracing In 2013

The UAE 1000 and 2000 Guineas represent the highlights of a valuable Dubai World Cup Carnival card sponsored by Dubai Duty Free this Thursday, January 17, 2013.

With a prize fund of US$560,000, the evening`s racing features three contests on the all-weather and three on the turf at Meydan Racecourse.

The Guineas Trials, which both take place over 1400m of the all-weather, represent the dress rehearsal for the UAE 1000 Guineas and 2000 Guineas held on February 7 and 14 respectively. Dubai Duty Free also sponsors a race on Dubai World Cup day, the US$5 million Group 1 Dubai Duty Free, presented by Dubai Duty Free.

Commenting on its partnership with Dubai Racing Club for the Dubai World Cup Racing Carnival at Meydan Racecourse, Dubai Duty Free`s Executive Vice Chairman, Colm McLoughlin, said:
