Dubai Interntional runners win back in the UK

Wintering in the UAE whilst running your horses in the Dubai International Racing Carnival is paying off dividends to UK trainers especially, Doncaster was the scene of two top class races which were both won by horses who wintered in Dubai.

The William Hill Lincoln Handicap went to the Michael Dods trained Sweet Lightning ridden by John Murtagh and owned by Andrew Tinkler who has sent his horses to the Carnival for the last few seasons. he won the traditional top handicap at the start of the UK flat season with ease.

Jimmy Styles won the Cammidge Trophy beating Iver Bridge Lad who had won the previous week, both these horse along with Doncaster Rover who finished out of the money were racing through the winter in Dubai.

Numerous UAE Champion Trianer Doug Watson has for many seasons has always said that it was the best thing to do to have your horse spouting fitness when returning to the UK, he would welcome anyone who wished to campaign their horses in Dubai. Be warned you need a good handicap mark to get into the fields but if rated 105 plus you can win some serious US dollars, and return to the UK season running.
