| A superb ride by Emirati Ahmed Ajtebi absolutely
destroyed the opponents in the Group I Dubai Duty Free aboard
the powerful Gladiatorus, they pair went into a good clear lead
early on in the race as the horse likes making the running and
he duly won his 3rd race in a row with the same tactics used
in each of the victories. The biggest career winner for Trainer
Mubarak bin Shafya whose first season as a flat trainer has
been a massive success. Presvis trained by Luca Cumani and Alexandros
trained by Saeed bin Suroor were both at the tail of the field
but ran on to claim 2nd and 3rd under Ryan Moore and Michael
Kinane, but they were never going to catch Gladiatorus whose
win puts him in good order for some major European Group I races. |
